The Teixim Ciència project is an initiative launched in 2025 that established a Community of Practice (CoP) focused on Parkinson’s disease, bringing together people living with Parkinson’s, their families, healthcare professionals, researchers, and the wider community to share knowledge and experiences.

This collaborative initiative aims to humanize the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, foster a sense of community and mutual learning, and promote a non-judgmental approach to the unpredictability of living with Parkinson’s. Its ultimate goal is to improve research and patient care through shared vulnerability, acceptance, and collective learning.
