I obtained my qualification as a Research Laboratory Technician in Besançon (France) in 2002. I subsequently worked in several research laboratories in Switzerland and Spain including the Institute of Physiology in Lausanne, and the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) in Barcelona, before joining in 2007 the Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Laboratory led by Dr. Miquel Vila in Barcelona.

Over the past 19 years, I have acquired extensive expertise in molecular biology and cellular techniques, animal models of neurodegeneration, histology (brain tissue processing, cryostat sectioning, immunohistochemistry assays), and microscopy techniques.

I also train students in routine laboratory procedures, ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations, oversee laboratory management, maintain reagent inventories, and coordinate the procurement of laboratory supplies.

In addition, I have participated in numerous science outreach activities in schools to promote scientific literacy among young students.
